You may have been able to guess (though I don’t know if I’ve ever said on here), but I am a lover of all things Addams. I have various incarnations of both Wednesday & Morticia style dresses – this Killstar number is one of my most recent additions, and favourites. I think it’s something about the cuffs… the fact that they’re oversized adds this little touch of witchy drama without veering too far into the territory of oversized shirt accents favoured by Harry Hill (I hope). The fact it’s a light jersey also makes it a winner for this time of year – most dresses I have like this are velvet or that sticky polyester-y fabric that clings to you as soon as there’s a vague suggestion of heat, but this one it pretty light & breezy (for a solid black dress)!
I made the dress a little more grown up looking with my heeled ankle boots and sheer black tights, before adding my trusty wide brim fedora and silver rings to keep that witchy vibe going. I hope you guys like the result – this is one of my favourite outfits at the moment!
