I don’t know how they do it, but Black Milk pieces always give me the biggest confidence boost. I fell in love with this dress the moment I saw it, but the prospect of putting it on terrified me ever-so-slightly – I was a tad worried about a sausage skin type look happening, aha. Not that I should have worried – while slightly time consuming to get on, the dress pulled me in in all the right places and made my waist look extra tiny! A definite yes from me. I paired it with a high neck burned velvet top and a cutesy mary janes & socks combo to take some of the edge off the dress, while still maintaining my favourite ‘all black everything’ vibe.

As the outfit was so heavy on the tougher textures, I lightened it up with softer make up – just some foundation, eyebrow filler, neutral eyeshadow & mascara. I actually think this may be the first blog post I’ve posted without eyeliner on?! I guess I have posted a make up free picture on instagram, but this is definitely a blog first.

Anyway, I hope you are well and enjoying your week so far – take care :3 Thank you so much for stopping by to read my blog, love!xxx

Olivia, you look BEAUTIFUL. I love everything about this, you've styled that dress with such ease as for me I'd immediately think of it as something for evening but you've worked it perfectly for daywear! xx
