As Halloween is fast approaching, I have started my yearly tradition of dressing like it is Halloween every day. I feel like this is my one time of year to play with more witchy clothing (or more so than usual I guess, haha). This Killstar velvet dress is so perfect for this time of year – a little mysterious, and so beautifully fluid. When moving I see myself as having a Professor Snape level of swish, but it’s highly possible (/probable) that I look more like someone trying to get something gross off their sleeve… (but only due to my exaggerated movements to create more swish!)
I paired the dress with hold up stockings to compliment the femininity of the velvet’s movement. And hey – if you can’t wear visible hold ups at Halloween, when can you?! I then finished the look with ‘witchy’ jewellery, pointy vintage boots, and a red lip.
Do you find yourself dressing a bit more darkly as Halloween approaches? And do you have a costume planned for this year? I do – hopefully I’ll be able to show you guys this weekend!

Omg I’m obsessed, this is definitely one of my favourite looks of yours! Literal perfection. I usually have a more colourful style so I definitely notice the Halloween influence on me but I love it <3
