Hey guys, I hope you’re well and having an amazing Bank Holiday weekend so far! Sorry that I’ve been a bit MIA recently… I’ve felt my head getting back to how it has been before and I haven’t been dealing with stress so well, so I’ve withdrawn myself from things and focused on work until I was feeling a bit more myself again. I’m starting to get there now, and one of the first things I’m picking up is my love, blogging!

This is just a little evening outfit I put together for a nice dinner – as it’s got a little colder again over the past weeks I’ve found myself relying on my faux fur coat again. The lace top I’m wearing is actually a beautiful lace playsuit that I picked up for a fiver at the Net-A-Porter sample sale, which was just the craziest place. Pretty much everything was out of my budget as I hadn’t saved any money, but I did manage to snag a dark tartan silk Givenchy scarf for £20! I also saw a Saint Laurent sheer shirt for £80, but there were these two big rips in it and it was the kind of sheer fabric where trying to stitch anything would probably have caused more holes. I ended up putting it back after carrying it around with me in denial for about ten minutes (because £80 for something that is broken is absolutely crazy, I was just blinded by fangirl-ness). The fabric felt incredible though – I handle a lot of designer pieces for my job and I have to say the Saint Laurent stuff always feels magical, the quality is amazing (but then again, for that price tag… it’d better be!)
I wore the playsuit under my Black Milk Sheer Split Skirt – I’m loving it for evenings at the moment as the two layers of sheer fabric give it a more solid texture, while the two splits appear as you walk, giving it a perfect level of risqué-ness without being too OTT for pairing with the lace top (for an evening event anyway – I don’t think I’d be quite brave enough to be walking around in the day like this ^.^’).
Love!xxx

You got that playsuit for a complete bargain, it's so gorgeous as well – man I wish I was confident enough to go out with that much skin showing through the lace, it looks so pretty, especially with the lace bra underneath

Very sexy little dinner outfit. I know how you feel about the YSL, I remember finding a designer steal I didn't even like but still considers buying it for ages because it was a bargain
