This is just a little outfit I wore for work this week. This dress is such a go-to for work as it’s not too short – I work in a studio so am often scuttling around the floor, so short dresses aren’t really appropriate… I often find myself wearing jeans as an ‘easier option’ but I do wish I had more dresses in my work wardrobe. When I wear jeans I often end up feeling like I’ve made less of an effort with my appearance, mainly as I rotate the same few ‘jeans + tee/jumper/shirt’ combos over and over! I love this layered effect of this dress – the ripped knit overlaying the lace makes it feel like a work dress with a bit of an edge, and something a little different! What’s your go-to work/uni look?

I’ve just noticed that this is my second hair-up look in a row! This one was less intentional though – I tied my hair up while I was working as it was getting in the way, but I ended up really liking it with this outfit. It keeps my hair out of the way to show off the studs on my jacket and detail around the top of the dress. The studs do cause my hair to snag too, so this was probably the most hair-friendly option for this look too, haha.

Take care, thank you so much for stopping by to read my blog! Love xxx

Lovely as always, I really like that this outfit looks rather girly but with your added edgy style. =^-^=
