Hello lovely people! Happy Thursday – nearly the weekend ^.^ I hope you’ve been having a great week so far, despite the cold.
I know that I said I’d be doing more casual posts this year and the last couple of outfits I’ve posted haven’t been all that casual… I’m sorry about that! It’s just that the outfits I have shot recently are either ones I’ve been super excited about & dying to shoot for a while (like the beaded black evening gown) or are just ones that crop up in my everyday life, like this one (because work, haha). I promise, more casual posts to come soon! And my first beauty post (finally, huh?!) will be next week – I’m being a bit of a busy bee with my content at the moment.
I picked up this check blazer as part of a suit on eBay about a year ago – unfortunately the skirt doesn’t sit all too well on me (and while merrily taking up the length I got a bit carried away and the length now borders on indecent… oops), so I don’t really wear the pieces together, even though it’s my dream to look totally Clueless. I guess I’m still channelling the look with this pleated tennis skirt, and I suppose not being too matchy-matchy is a bit more versatile!
