It’s finally time for my first blog post from aus! Sorry it took me so long to get round to posting this – I wanted to just take a couple of days out to chill as things were crazy before I left for aus, and then I’m moving the day after we get back and then starting my new job the following day (a little terrifying, haha) so I really hope you guys understand and can forgive me.
We took these photos on our first full day in Melbourne, at the Royal Botanic Gardens, which were possibly one of the most beautiful places I’ve visited in a long time. I was so excited to crack out my summer wardrobe early on this trip – especially as in England it’s currently impossible to leave the house without a bazillion layers – being able to go out without a jacket was quite a contrast! My first day outfit featured this gorgeous Free People dress that I picked up for half price in the Asos sale. It could just be one of the most beautiful dresses I’ve ever owned – I couldn’t stop smiling from the moment I put it on! I layered the lace over a strappy bra to add some contrasting structure, as well as a pair of disco shorts to keep me well covered.
I hope you guys are well and are having a great week so far :3 take care! Love xxx
