Hi everyone! How’s the run up to Christmas going? Hope it’s not too stressful, and you’ve all got everything under control (as much as you can at Christmas, wah!). We’ve has my Uncle and Auntie from Yorkshire come over for a Pre-Christmas Christmas celebration/catch up, so we had a nice meal yesterday, so I thought I’d dress up!
Since the weather has been so grey and cold recently, I thought I’d dress in a matching palette (not that my wardrobe really extends much further than grey and black, but hey!), which gave  me a chance to try out this beautiful skirt. I’ve always been a fan of paisley, but the fact it’s metallic makes it a bit more festive, in my opinion ^.^. The great thing about this skirt, though, is that instead of an underskirt, it has little shorts, so your modesty is maintained at all times (for example when you drop something and have to swiftly pick it up, but then have to stop half way to the floor as you contemplate whether your skirt will be long enough for you to carry on… it happens, aha!), which is great, as I’ve taken to sticking my disco shorts on under skirts these days, ha. I threw on a faux fur to keep warm- this one is one my Mum got from M&S a few years back, and I borrow it every year, it’s so beautiful (and cosy!). And you can never, ever go wrong with a pair of spiked shoes (;.
Lots of love!x

Oh my goodness, it's textures galore in this outfit! I absolutely love the skirt, the silvery pattern is so festive! Shorts under skirts are a must I think! I remember insisting on wearing my pink polka dot cycling shorts under my skirts when I was little haha!
    Much love, Bemsy x

This is absolutely stunning lovely! 🙂 Want this whole outfit. I know what you mean about the skirts, my choice is normally a bodycon miniskirt from H&M that I wear under skirts and dresses, means I never accidentally show off more than intended ahah xxx

Gorgeous shoes and coat. Love that the skirt has built in shorts, I think that should be standard on short skirts to avoid embarassment!
