Humbug dressing…

Shaggy Faux Fur Coat* – Missguided
Dagger Earrings – Asos
Chiffon Kimono 2.0 – Black Milk Clothing
Sequin Crop Top* – Lavish Alice
Studded Leather Shorts – The Ragged Priest (similar
Velvet Molly Boots – Dr Martens (also here)
It’s official – the ‘bah, humbug’ vibes have set in. I don’t know if it’s just because I’m a bit under the weather (hence the lack of posts – sorry guys!), or just that I haven’t felt terribly festive yet this year… either way, I’m just not feeling it. However, with everything going on this time of year, you’ve got to keep going – so here’s my attempt at dressing to party, when I really, REALLY don’t wanna.
Sequins always make me feel a little bit better, so this gorgeous Lavish Alice crop top seemed a good place to start! It’s the kind of sequins where they’re silver on one side, and black on the other, so if you’re a big kid like me, you’ll love the fact you can draw patterns in it! It helps the sequin top look a little more rough in texture as well, which means it’s ideal for pairing with my leather shorts. When I’m feeling unwell and have to be outside, you will not find me without my docs on my feet – they’re my comfort shoes (is that a thing? …If not it should be) – so I went for my favourite velvet & ribbon docs for some added texture. To top things off, I threw on my floaty Black Milk chiffon kimono & super-cosy Missguided faux fur ^.^
Do you guys have something you love to wear when you have to go out when you feel like crap? Comfort shoes, sparkles or something completely different? I’d love to know!

Love xxx

Woah I love this, the back of that crop top and shorts are awesome. My comfort things are probably my faux fur jacket (which I wear when I'm sat in my house too) and my fluffy cropped jumper, anything fluffy and super cosy really <3

Sorry to hear you're feeling so crap honey! I hope you start to feel better in time for all the festivities 🙂 I haven't felt particularly festive so far this year either, but now that I've finished work for the year and I've caught up on sleep I'm feeling a little better!
I absolutely love that Lavish Alice top by the way, it's absolutely gorgeous and I love the texture of the sequins! xo
