Hello lovelies! I hope you are all well and have had a lovely weekend, doing whatever you wanted to do :3
This is just a cosy little outfit I wore on Friday- excuse the messy hair, I let my hair dry in a bun and then when I took it down it was frizz central, so it looks a little ratty in the pictures, ha. You’ve probably noticed a bit more colour creeping into my wardrobe again- I’m not sure why, maybe I’m just getting a little more confident with it (as my looks can be pretty texture heavy, I’m always scared of going a little overboard with colours/textures etc.). This skirt is such a gorgeous shade of green – and I don’t know how much you can tell from the pictures, but it’s a lovely suedette fabric – so I thought it would be best to pair it with a fairly plain top, especially as I was layering over my bobbly wool cardigan!

As for footwear, I’m so in love with these Dr. Martens Hadley boots! They’re like an all-black, slightly smarter version of my classic 1460 Docs, that fit oh-so perfectly into my wardrobe – I’d be tempted to say even more so then my classics? Maybe it’s the fancy hook fastening section of them that’s winning me over, heh ^.^’. It’s hard to say though, the 1460s have been a closet staple for me since I was 15 – the cost-per-wear of those boots must be pence now! Anyway, I picked the Hadley boots up last Thursday when Joel & I popped along to the Spitalfields store (15 Lamb Street) for their ‘First Thursday’ event – they open up their store in the evening with a DJ & beers and stuff (and you can of course go shopping!), it apparently happens every first Thursday of the month… so I guess the name is pretty self-explanatory, haha.
Enough from me – I hope you all have a lovely Monday (as lovely as one can be..!), love!xxx
