This was my fancy outfit of the weekend – I realised I’ve been keeping my outfit posts much more casual than I have in the past, and haven’t really bee photographing what I wear in the evenings – I guess that should change!

This dress is my ultimate going-out dress at the moment – it’s such a gorgeous Givenchy-inspired LBD, but at a much more relatable price! I’ve been wearing with sheer layers underneath, smudgy eye make up and grungey waves like this (a look that also works dressed down with studded boots), but I’ve also vamped it up a bit with sleek hair, huge heels and dark lips and eyes which is awesome for a full-on nightime look.

I’m gutted that American apparel have stopped making this long sleeve sheer dress – it’s one of my favourite layering pieces but mine is starting to look a little worn. Does anyone know anywhere that does something similar?

    Such a gorgeous look, love the detailing of that dress. I find it hard to document what I wear in the evenings as it tends to be rushed or dark and then i can never be bothered getting all dressed up again :') I love all your looks though so casual or not I'm happy <3
